Urban Active Hosts Charity Membership Drive July 29th-31st Benefitting Kosair Charities

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 26, 2011 – Urban Active in St. Matthews, with the help from the community, is hosting a Charity Membership Drive this weekend Friday, July 29th thru Sunday, July 31st  benefitting Kosair Charities.  Urban Active’s goal is to raise $1500.00 for Kosair Charities by signing up 300 new memberships (donating half the proceeds).  

Since 1923, Kosair Charities has had one primary mission – helping children in need.  Kosair Charities knows that the quality of a child’s tomorrow depends largely on the quality of health, medical treatment, and support a child receives today!  That’s why over the years, Kosair Charities has given more than $152 million to save thousands of children and provide them a second chance in life.  Kosair is also the largest benefactor to Kosair Children’s Hospital.  For more information, please visit www.kosair.org

Urban Active’s Charity Membership Drive will offer door prizes raffled off from Outback Steakhouse, Vincenzo’s, Drake’s, Molly Malone’s, Tilted Kilt, Gary’s on Spring, Carrabba’s, Texas Roadhouse, and Meridian Home furnishings.  Additionally, new members will receive a free car wash and food supplied by Papa John’s, Jimmy John’s, Brownie’s, The Shed, Whole Foods, and Red Bull.

This weekend only, the sign-up fee to join Urban Active St. Matthews will be reduced to $10 for a month-to-month membership, with half the proceeds going to this Kosair Charities.
