The team full of energy at the start of the ridePRLog (Press Release) - Aug 04, 2011 - A group of cyclists from local developer Linden Homes Western teamed up to ride a mammoth 66 miles in one day – all to raise money for two Bristol based charities, Cots for Tots Appeal and Children’s Hospice South West. Completing the journey from Great Bedwyn to Bristol in the wind, rain and mud, the triumphant group managed to raise a whopping total of £4,624 for these great causes. Nigel Palmer, managing director at Linden Homes Western comments: “We are really proud as a company that the team managed to pull off this great event. It was a hard slog but definitely worth it to be able to hand over the money raised to two such worthy local charities. It’s been such a success we’ve decided to do one next year - here’s to the training.”
