Orange County Law Firm Cohn & Swartzon Hosts Fund-Raising Gala for Injured Boy

Gabriel Nunez is a seventeen-year-old client of Cohn & Swartzon, PC who suffered a tragic head injury on New Year's day 2011. In his efforts to save his mother’s life from an oncoming car, he was struck and severely injured.
PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 03, 2011 - As a client of the firm, the legal team at Cohn & Swartzon knows that this young hero needs to be supported through any possible means.  The firm will be hosting a fundraising gala on August 25, 2011 between the hours of 5:30 and 8:30 PM at Chapter 1, the Modern Local Restaurant & Bar located at 227 North Broadway, Santa Ana, 92701.  This gala occasion located in the Artists Village in downtown Santa Ana has been set up by Jason Cohn and Saar Swartzon to raise money to help Gabriel’s devoted mother Veronica with the extensive medical bills for his previous and upcoming surgeries.  Additionally, the firm is hoping to raise enough money to purchase a used vehicle so that Gabriel’s mother will have a way to take her son to and from his medical appointments, surgeries and future treatments.

Gabriel has survived numerous surgical procedures, including eight serious brain operations.  He nearly lost his life several times during these invasive procedures, but maintains a positive attitude.  The attorneys at Cohn & Swartzon recognize an extraordinary level of spirit and hope in this young man and his mother that they hope to share with the attendees at the gala.  Gabriel’s heroism was also recently recognized by the Buena Park Police Department where he received a commendation for his heroic actions on that New Year’s Day.
