Boyne Mountain in Michigan is the Midwest’s largest ski area, and Bluegreen’s Mountain Run puts owners at the peak of the action. Skiers can take advantage of 14 lifts and more than 50 trails for all skill levels. Snowboarders can slide and jump their way through the terrain park. Plus, some Mountain Run villas offer owners the ability to ski in/ski out at the base of the Super Bowl, one of the most popular black-diamond runs. Mountain Run also features two championship golf courses and several tennis courts. For a fun family outing, pay a visit to nearby Deer Lake for boating, fishing, swimming, and kayaking.
Bluegreen owners, who are staying at Mountain Run, won’t have more than a minutes’ drive to attend the Boyne Falls Polish Festival. The event, which runs from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. each day, will allow attendees a chance to enjoy Polish food, Polish music, a rodeo, and carnival. The polka tent will feature live music, drinks and food. The Mud Run, which starts at 1 p.m. on Aug. 7, showcases doctored pickup trucks slinging mud as they make their way through a course. Kids who are under 10-years-old will enjoy Youth Day, and there will be a carnival running throughout the entire festival. As always, the Car Show & Cruise will kick off the festival on Oldies Night.
