Throughout the month of July, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers’ dynamic Sicilian Chef Gaetano Palumbo invites you to travel to the world of great luxurious gastronomic delights of Italian cuisine that can’t be missed. What’s the highlight? Delectable dishes created from prestigious truffles directly imported from Tuscany, Italy.
Truffles. They might smell like earth, tree roots and old cheese, but this gastronomic ingredient is very famous for its aroma, taste and aphrodisiac qualities. Savoury truffles dishes include: Deer carpaccio with truffle mustard and ‘’bagna cauda” dressing; Fava beans soup, parmesan cheese and black truffle; Homemade tagliolini with black truffle;
Baked rainbow trout from the “Royal project” with truffle sauce; Lamb chop truffle cutlet with potatoes cake served with red wine sauce and lastly, to end the evening with a beautiful dessert, Gorgonzola and walnut parfait, truffle honey sauce.
The special truffles promotion runs from 1-31 July 2011 only at Giorgio’s located on the 1st floor of Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers.
